Christ Community is a Gospel driven church; meaning that in spite of ourselves we endeavor to further the Kingdom of God by spreading the Gospel according to the Great Commission of Our Lord Jesus. We seek to influence and impact our world in our Nearby, our Nation, and the Nations.
According to the teaching of the Scriptures we, in our mission efforts, seek to be the Sowers [co-workers in the Gospel] taking the Seed [the Word of God] and sowing it in the Soil [the population field of people God leads us to]; and praying that the Spirit [God’s power to awaken, convict, and covert sinners] will give the fruit of salvation to many.
We seek to have a sustainable IMPACT in our mission efforts and not just a random CONTACT. What that means is we desire to either work with an existing church in that mission field or to start a new church in that field, both if possible.
“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” –John 15:5–8
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
By sending, going, supporting and praying, God has given Christ Community the opportunity to be obedient to His call in many areas of the world, some open to the gospel, some closed. Sensitivity to the safety of those in many areas of the world prohits the mentioning by name many who have gone out through partership with CCBC. We are priviledged to be part of God’s work in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, South America and Central America.

COMMUNITY IN CHRIST
From the birth that took place as a Backyard Bible Club in a trailer park to a bilingual congregation in the middle of the Nutbush community, Communidad En Cristo has become a beacon of God’s light in a very dark area. Christ Community enjoys the family relationship with the church and partners with them for many different events throughout the year.
ROSSVILLE RANCHETTE
A small community of people that live outside of a small town just east of Collierville has become very special to Christ Community. Relationships have been made as we have partnered with believing members of the community to help them reach their neighbors with the Good News of Jesus Christ. From Backyard Bible Clubs, to Christmas caroling, to construction projects, the Kingdom of God is being built at the Ranchette.
