MARCH MISSIONS MONTH
Every March is dedicated to our missionaries at Christ Community Baptist Church. One of the highlights is the Dessert Auction. Members make various cakes, cookies, confections, and other homemade items to sell. All proceeds go to our Missions Fund. We also get the opportunity to hear from some of our missionaries first-hand how they are brining the love and truth of Christ to their community.
CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
This is one of the most treasured nights of the year at Christ Community. Come gather together around our table and enjoy Christmas dinner with us. There is always so much food to share! Afterwards, we move toward the “hearth” to sing Christmas songs, new and old. Without a doubt, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and truly in the Christmas spirit.
4TH OF JULY COMMUNITY GATHERING
Every summer we gather together to watch the fireworks on the lawn of our church. It is truly a wonderful time of fellowship as we gather together. Popcorn, watermelon, and other refreshments are served.
THORTON’S POOL SUMMER PICNIC
When summer gets heated up real good, the Christ Community family and its guests gather at Thorton’s Pool in Tipton county to cool off and have a great day of food, music and fun in the water. The Thorton family is a dynamic Christian family that has built this “watering hole” pool as a ministry to the community.
YEAR ROUND FAMILY FUN
The Christ Community church family loves to get together and live life. Whether it is family game nights, birthday parties, fun excursions or a myriad of other events, we love to have meaningful fun with each other. It is an example of sharing life and experiencing one aspect of God’s design of making our lives rich and full.
